Is your outreach effective? Acts 1:8 Ministry is an effective program created to proved churches with a complimentary P.A.C.K. (Planned Acts of Christian Kindness) kit and consulting services, thus sharing the love of Jesus Christ worldwide.
This is the call found on the main page of the Acts 1:8 Ministry website, found at http://www.acts18.org/index.html The website is a user friendly site with God found everywhere you look. The purpose of the ministry can be found in the scripture they use as their name also: Acts 1:8 which says But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth. To Jeff Van Beaver, President, this is more than just a slogan, it is a way of life.
Based in Wisconsin, the ministry has made a great impact locally in demonstrating Christs love through their acts of Christian Kindness. Free soda, a pig roast, cheap gas, free hot dogs, free Belgian pie, the spectrum of the random acts that you find this group performing local has become a legend in the Green Bay area. The love of Christ which they spread, is contained best in a planning package they offer free to churches and ministry organizations. The purpose of the package: to teach others the gift of giving and random kindness to others in the name of our Lord. The kit contains a FREE CD, manual, VHS tape, and consulting services. It is a plan that requires minimal planning, has high impact and low burnout, and no cost. It is an easy-to-follow program full of nonthreatening interaction with your community.
Acts 1:8 is a nonprofit organization that runs the private donations and provides their kits free of church to ministries and churches dedicated to the service of Christ through this plan. If you are interested in supporting them, or learning more about this impacting ministry, visit them on the web at www.acts18.org and see the Spirit which witnesses to the world. Be a part of it today.
